Job Description In continuation to BSNL – Karnataka Telecom Circle publication in the official website dated 8.10.08 inviting applications for Recruitment of ” Telecom Technical Assistants -TTAs – 2008 from open market, following corrections may please be incorporated in the publication immediately.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of 233 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTA) by BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle for its 19 Secondary Switching Areas(SSAs) :

Closing date for receipt of applications : 10/11/2008

Qualification : Three years Engineering Diploma in : Telecommunications Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Radio Engineering / Computer Engineering / Instruments Technology/ Information Technology/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized institute /university.

Age : 18 to 27 years. Relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.

Application Fee : The examination fee of Rs.500/- is to be sent along with the application form in the shape of Crossed Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash) % GMTD,……………….(name of the SSA concerned), payable at their Head Quarters . No fee is required to be paid in respect of SC /ST/ PH candidate.

How to Apply : Completed application in prescribed form should be sent by registered post to the Principal General Manager /General Manager/Telecom District Manager concerned as mentioned in the detailed advt. Ramesh was here to meet Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi to discuss the power projects in the state.

The projects that Ramesh refers to are Hogenakkal, Shivanasumudram, Mekedatu and Rasimanner located in the Cauvery basin in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

According to him, the two states and the National Hydro Power Corp should enter into an agreement for actualising these projects and also to avoid any future inter-state disputes pertaining to these projects.

He said the Kudankulam nuclear power project was progressing as per schedule.
