Job Description In continuation to BSNL – Karnataka Telecom Circle publication in the official website dated 8.10.08 inviting applications for Recruitment of ” Telecom Technical Assistants -TTAs – 2008 from open market, following corrections may please be incorporated in the publication immediately.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of 233 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTA) by BSNL Karnataka Telecom Circle for its 19 Secondary Switching Areas(SSAs) :

Closing date for receipt of applications : 10/11/2008

Qualification : Three years Engineering Diploma in : Telecommunications Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Radio Engineering / Computer Engineering / Instruments Technology/ Information Technology/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized institute /university.

Age : 18 to 27 years. Relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.

Application Fee : The examination fee of Rs.500/- is to be sent along with the application form in the shape of Crossed Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash) % GMTD,……………….(name of the SSA concerned), payable at their Head Quarters . No fee is required to be paid in respect of SC /ST/ PH candidate.

How to Apply : Completed application in prescribed form should be sent by registered post to the Principal General Manager /General Manager/Telecom District Manager concerned as mentioned in the detailed advt. The envelope containing the application form should be marked ” APPLICATION FOR TELECOM TECHNICAL ASSISTANT EXAMINATION – 2008 KARNATAKA CIRCLE” in bold letters on top of the envelope and must reach on or before 10/11/2008.
