Job Description :Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of 397 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTA) by BSNL Punjab Telecom Circle for its 11 Secondary Switching Areas (SSAs) :

Closing date for receipt of applications : 10/11/2008

Qualification : Three years Engineering Diploma in : Telecommunications Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Radio Engineering / Computer Engineering / Instruments Technology/ Information Technology/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized institute /university.

Age : 18 to 27 years. Relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.

Application Fee : Rs. 500/-in the form of Bank Draft/ IPO drawn in favour of of “Accounts Officer (Cash) O/o GMTD ….. (name of SSA concerned) ” of SSA Concerned. No fee for SC Candidates.

How to Apply : Application form in prescribed format duly filled in by the candidate in his/her own hand writing/typed should be sent to the D.E. (Admn.) O/o GMTD………………(name of the SSA concerned for which the candidate wishes to apply) so as to be received in his/her office latest by 10/11/2008. The envelope containing application should be superscribed in bold letters “Application for Telecom Technical Assistant (Direct Recruitment) Examination-2008″ Two self addressed envelopes ( 23×11 cms. size) duly stamped should also be enclosed with the application.
